Open the link in your invitation email and choose a password. After that, sign in with your email and that password.

Watch out: Your menu is short on purpose. Office staff do not record in the homes, in children's files or in incidents, and do not see children's health information.

The sign-in screen: Email, Password and the Sign in button.

More about this

An owner or administrator of the agency invites you as office staff for your office. The link opens "Choose a password"; type it twice and save. You land on the dashboard. Your menu is short on purpose: Dashboard, Messages and Help, then Providers and the Calendar, then My training and My account. Your office's name sits in the top bar.

What office staff do in KeepCount: the providers of their office and their screening documents, their invitations and reminders, and messages to the office. What office staff do not do: record the homes' days, keep children's files, or see children's health information. The agency's owners and administrators do the rest, and a page that keeps those records says so when you open it.

To sign out of KeepCount, use Sign out at the top right of the screen; on a phone it is at the foot of the menu.

Your agency's words for people and its policies may differ; the screens are the same. The screen is from KeepCount 0.99.191, captured November 2, 2026 in a demonstration organization: everyone in it is fictional. Section numbers are O. Reg. 137/15 (General) under the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014, read on e-Laws on October 20, 2026. This explains how KeepCount works; it is not legal advice, and the Ministry's program advisors decide compliance.
