Step 15 of 29 · Your first week

A policy, as you read it

A policy opens for reading, with who has confirmed it. The organization's administrators change and approve it.

A policy as a supervisor reads it: the text, who has confirmed it; the organization’s administrators change and approve it.

More about this

Readiness and Inspection day link to the policies your site's records depend on: supervision, safe arrival and dismissal, sleep, anaphylaxis, medication, serious occurrences, emergency management. You read them here and see who at your site has confirmed each; the text, the approval and the quiz are the administrators'. Every licensee must implement its policies at each centre and monitor compliance with them (s. 6.1(1) and (7)); your observations (below) are that monitoring.

Your centre's words for people and its policies may differ; the screens are the same. The screen is from KeepCount 0.99.162, captured October 29, 2026 in a demonstration organization: everyone in it is fictional. Section numbers are O. Reg. 137/15 (General) under the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014, read on e-Laws on October 20, 2026. This explains how KeepCount works; it is not legal advice, and the Ministry's program advisors decide compliance.
