Forms and reports to sign or read
Your centre or agency can ask you to sign a medication authorization or read an accident report in KeepCount. Open Forms and reports to do either.
Watch out: If anything in an authorization is wrong, do not sign it. Tell the centre or agency, and they will send a new one.
Where it shows up
When the centre or agency sends you something to sign or read, a number appears beside "Forms and reports" in the menu, and Today shows a notice with a link to it. Your phone gets an alert that names no child.
Each form was sent to you by name. When nothing is waiting, the page says "Nothing to sign or read".
A medication or products authorization
For a medication, or for sunscreen and other products that are not medication, the centre or agency may ask you to sign their authorization here instead of on paper. The page shows what they entered:
- The medication or the products, and the kind: a prescription medication, a medication from the pharmacy shelf, an emergency medication, or products that are not medication.
- The amount each time, and how it is given.
- When: at set times, or when needed, as directed on the label. Where it applies, the least time between doses.
- The dates it runs from and to, and who carries it.
To sign:
- Read what is shown. If something is wrong, do not sign: tell the centre or agency and they will send a new one.
- Tick the sentence beside the box.
- Type your full name, then choose "Sign the authorization".
The medication or the products must come in the original container, labelled with your child's name.
An accident report
When your child has an accident, your copy of the report comes here for you to read: what happened and when, where, the first aid given, who attended and when a parent was told. Choose "I have read it" to tell the centre or agency that you have your copy. Questions about it go to them.
After you sign or read
The form moves to "Signed or read", with when you signed or read it and, for an authorization, the name you signed as. A signed authorization is kept as it was sent.
If you want to change what an authorization says, ask the centre or agency. They send a new one for you to sign.
