Allergies and food restrictions

What the centre recorded for your child, with the day the family last confirmed it. If something is missing, tell the centre today.

Watch out: If something is missing, tell the centre today: the list is the one the staff cook and serve from (s. 43(3)).

Allergies and food restrictions as the centre recorded them, with when each was confirmed with the family.

More about this

The list is the one the staff cook and serve from: the regulation asks the centre to post the children's allergies and food restrictions in each cooking and serving area and each play room (O. Reg. 137/15, s. 43(3)). A severe allergy (anaphylaxis) carries a pill and the centre keeps the epinephrine's place and expiry with it, which the family does not see here. A centre that keeps its allergy records on paper says so, and you ask the centre to see them.

Your child's centre or agency may use other words for people and its own policies; the screens are the same. The screen is from KeepCount 0.99.171, captured October 30, 2026 in a demonstration organization: everyone in it is fictional. Section numbers are O. Reg. 137/15 (General) under the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014, read on e-Laws on October 20, 2026. This explains how KeepCount works; it is not legal advice, and the Ministry's program advisors decide compliance.
