Step 7 of 24 · Your first day
Also today
"Also today": the head count, Going outside and Back inside, medication, an incident, something done earlier, and All done today.

More about this
"Going outside" starts the outdoor time and "Back inside" ends it; each child in care for six hours or more spends at least two hours outdoors each day, weather permitting, unless a physician or a parent advises otherwise in writing (O. Reg. 137/15, s. 47(4)). "Medication" opens the day's doses; "Incident" opens Report an incident with the home filled in; "Record something done earlier" and "All done today" are the steps below.
Your agency's words for people and its policies may differ; the screens are the same. The screen is from KeepCount 0.99.144, captured October 27, 2026 in a demonstration organization: everyone in it is fictional. Section numbers are O. Reg. 137/15 (General) under the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014, read on e-Laws on October 20, 2026. This explains how KeepCount works; it is not legal advice, and the Ministry's program advisors decide compliance.
