Step 2 of 9 · Your invoices and payments

Billing

Billing: your account with the centre, what is owed or your credit, the invoices and credit notes, and your payments.

Watch out: What is owed counts every payment to the account, including another payer's; the payments listed are yours alone.

Billing: the centre and the account number, what is owed, the invoices and credit notes with what is left to pay and by when.

More about this

The account card names the centre and the family's account number, then says where you stand in one sentence, the same as on Today: "You owe $… by <date>" (with "the first $… by <date>" when several invoices are open), "$… will be taken from your bank on <date>", "Paid up, thank you", or "Credit $…, used on your next invoice". A credit note says "This lowers what you owe".

Each invoice line says its number, the period, the amount (and the fee subsidy's part, if a funder pays some of it), and what is left to pay with the date it is due, or "paid", or "credited".

A question about an invoice? Open it and tap "Question about this invoice": it opens a message to the office with the invoice's number in the subject. KeepCount does not change a centre's invoices.

Your child's centre or agency may use other words for people and its own policies; the screens are the same. The screen is from KeepCount 0.99.171, captured October 30, 2026 in a demonstration organization: everyone in it is fictional. Section numbers are O. Reg. 137/15 (General) under the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014, read on e-Laws on October 23, 2026. This explains how KeepCount works; it is not legal advice, and the Ministry's program advisors decide compliance.
