Step 4 of 9 · Your invoices and payments

A receipt for a payment

Your payments: each one with its day, how it was paid and the amount. "Receipt" prints a receipt for that payment.

Watch out: A payment you made outside KeepCount shows here once the centre has recorded it.

Your payments: each with its day, how it was paid and the amount, and Receipt.

More about this

The centre records each payment made outside KeepCount (an e-Transfer, a cheque, cash) with the day it was received; a debit through KeepCount shows on its own. A payment pays the oldest invoices first; what is left is your credit for the next invoice.

Your child's centre or agency may use other words for people and its own policies; the screens are the same. The screen is from KeepCount 0.99.171, captured October 30, 2026 in a demonstration organization: everyone in it is fictional. Section numbers are O. Reg. 137/15 (General) under the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014, read on e-Laws on October 23, 2026. This explains how KeepCount works; it is not legal advice, and the Ministry's program advisors decide compliance.
